FACT: Senior Citizen Benefit in the Philippines

In the Philippines, we always celebrate our love for our GRANDPARENTS everyday by giving them RA 7432 series of 1992 and RA 9994 series of 2010. It gives a mandatory 20% discount and an additional 12% VAT exemption to all senior citizen (with senior citizen ID) to all basic goods and services.

Local government units also have specific programs and additional benefits for their elderly.
